A former Channel Four commissioning executive, Nick is a respected programme maker with a string of high profile credits and awards. He has directed live Olympic host broadcast coverage, and has a production background that includes Live Aid, The Old Grey Whistle Test and Channel Four’s ground-breaking NFL programming.
Nick has also worked with many blue chip corporate companies including Atkins, BT, Design Museum, FT, Harrods, IBM, ICI, JP Morgan Bank, London Stock Exchange, Renault, Thomson Holidays and WH Smith.
Gemma describes herself in two words, ‘high’ and ‘maintenance’ but in reality she is a very down to earth and knowledgeable sports presenter with passion for competitive sport and making television. She has built herself a respected reputation within the industry as the face of the World Series by Renault and GT Open on ESPN. Gemma has also presented P1 Powerboats, the Lotus Elise Trophy, kite surfing, sailing and is a regular host of live events like the Goodwood Festival of Speed.
When she’s not making TV, Gemma is generally training for marathons, playing in race cars and mum to two!!
John is an all-round technical guru who specialises in editing and has also been a cameraman. He has worked on over 3000 commercials and has edited several surgical and medical programmes without fainting. His career took him to Teddington Studios and TV classics like Kilroy, Wish You Were Here and This Is Your Life. He then joined CSI and subsequently BT and specialised in sports TV in a live environment with countless football credits working for the FA, UEFA and the Football League.
Tim has worked at the sharp end of business for many years now, running businesses and consulting to others. A published author, a book on eCommerce which is sure to help even the most hardened insomniac get to sleep. Away from Tim’s responsibilities at eelPie, his main focus commercially is centred around the worlds of motorsport and horology, which have more in common than most imagine, time being the critical element to all motor races.
Esther lives in Bristol with her husband and 3 children. She runs an accountancy firm with the intriguing name of Pickled Parsnip and keeps our finances in order. She enjoys singing and has recently joined a choir.
